Day 1: Fly to Lalibela – Visit of the First Group of Churches

Morning flight to Lalibela. Transfer from the airport (23km) to the town. After lunch, visit the Northern Group of rock-hewn churches: Bet Medhane Alem (housing the Lalibela Cross and believed to be the largest monolithic church), Bete Maryam, Bete Golgotha, the Selassie Chapel, and the Tomb of Adam.

Day 2: Visit of the Second Group of Churches & Departure

After breakfast, take a mule ride or walk to the 13th-century monastery of Asheton Mariam. After lunch, proceed to visit the Western Group, featuring the iconic Bete Giyorgis. Finally, visit the Eastern Group: Bete Amanuel, Bete Merkorios, Bete Abba Libanos, and Bete Gabriel-Rufael. Late in the afternoon, transfer to Lalibela airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa, where the tour concludes.
